Christi’s books just get better and better! Jane was a hoot! She did what she did to survive! And she didn’t feel bad about it until Gabriel. She went and fell in love! Gabriel didn’t want to love anybody all he wanted was a companion for his sister Chloe for last 2 months of the season and make her a good match them he wouldn’t have to worry about anyone but himself! He writes to Mrs. Beldens finishing school and requests a chaperone /companion for 2months. At the same time Mrs. Belden is letting Jane go because she is too outspoken about women’s rights and that is not what she teaches at her school and she had complaints from Jane’s real sister the duke of Ravencrests legitimate daughter! She wants Jane gone just to be spiteful. Jane sees the letter on the desk and slides it in her pocket and goes there pretending Mrs. Belden sent her Gabriel is suspicious of her right away and tells her she won’t suit! She talks him into letting her sister decide and it all went downhill from there ! Christi writes a very entertaining story I cannot wait for the next book!!
