I really liked this story very much! With his  twin and his leg gone he was ready to isolate himself from the life he felt he didn’t deserve to live in society anymore. Because he lead his brother into battle and left him on the field dead and his friend Oliver saved him but they could not save his brother. When their childhood friend Daphne wrote him pleading for his help he didn’t waste anytime running to her aid !! They decided to fake a betrothal to keep her new guardian from marrying her off to someone of his choosing. They only had to pretend for a month until she came of age and could get her inheritance. If only things could work out the way they planned! As the month drew to a close neither was willing to call it off and hurt the other. In the end they finally realized they loved each other and married! But a surprise twist at the end (sorry if I told you it would spoil it for those who haven’t read it yet)takes this book to a whole new level!  Great writing Erica! Now I’ll be biting my nails waiting for the next one to come out!!!! Loved it!! I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review!!
